Marc Yves Lane (1978 - ) was born in Sydney, Australia. He now lives in London with his partner. He has degrees in law, architecture and urban design, and has practiced in all three fields. His interest in historical fiction stems from reading Colleen McCullough, Sharon Penman, Edward Rutherford and Jean M Auel as a child - and both reading and writing historical fiction for his own enjoyment ever since. Palladium: Eastern Empires is his first published book.
