I was born in Oak Park, Illinois to an Irish-Italian family. My passion is for those who are neglected and mistreated. I am an animal rights activist and a vegetarian, but oddly enough a Republican. My First Love is my dog, Busterpuppy. He's a Husky. Gorgeous! I found him in 1999, yelping, at three months old, in front of my favorite ice cream parlor. That same year, I had lost my Father, Grandma, Aunt and Uncle, was attacked by a Golden Retriever (Yes! He was in-bred), almost lost my hand to a bone infection from the attack and was in therapy and an IV, for six months. I had also lost my job. But I am an eternal believer that Great Joy comes from Great Pain. Let's see. I am the oldest of three siblings, with a sister and brother. My brother and his wife had their first child (my nephew), whom I will see next week, in Florida. I've written two books under the pen name, Marianne Therese (Children's and Poetry). I'm working on a third. I have other degrees in Fashion, History, Counseling and Clinical Psychology. I am an Administrator for an automotive engineering company. I've been married for 8 years, to my high school sweetheart that I connected with 15 years, after we graduated. We're avid boaters and jet skiers and live on the Fox River. That's all folks. I hold 4 degrees at present: Fashion (B.A), Psych (B.S. and M.S) and History (B.A. from GCU ƒ). I am working on my Second Masters in Criminal Justice/Legal Studies, here at GCU.
