Shand Stringham is a retired Army colonel who served on the faculty of the US Army War College at Pennsylvania's Carlisle Barracks, where he taught national security and strategy. His other published titles include Gettysburg Revisited and Strategic Leadership and Strategic Management. He and his wife live in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
