About the Author :

Steve Gallagher is an innovative and often controversial writer. Nonetheless, he offers no apology for ruffled feathers or raised eyebrows within the billion- dollar Fitness and Weight-loss Industry. Gallagher continues to be an aggres- sive advocate against frauds and scams propagated by - as he puts it - "an in- dustry's shamelessly selling false hope to a mostly uninformed public." He studied Personal Training/Nutrition and is certified by the National Personal Training Institute, the premiere personal training school in the United States. Gallagher often credits an early-age fascination with working out for igniting his passion for uncovering the "real" science of nutrition, exercise, and athletic- performance improvement. In 2012 he formed the personal training/nutrition company, "Celebration Fitness," as he says, "there is a HUGE void in the indus- try. He continues to keep the public informed and protect everybody from myths, lies, and industry nonsense." In 2013, his first book titled, "Evidence Based Dieting, Exercise & Weight-Loss," became an instant internet hit. Steve Gallagher continues his efforts to improve the Personal Training industry by en- couraging Trainers to make a commitment to their client's "Results" by imple- menting sound eating and exercise principles, instead of gimmicky exercise protocols and useless dietary supplements. Currently a Fitness Expert and writ- er, Steve Gallagher’s latest project has him teamed-up with good friend, Fran- ny Goodrich and Dr. Arthur Apolinario, MD. The three have collaborated on the 2014 book, "The Last Diet, Exercise, & Weight-loss Book You Will EVER Need to Read," as well as the development of educational workshops and personal trainer development.
