About Mark Twain's Speeches by Mark Twain

Mark Twain's collected speeches showcase all of his brilliant wit as well as his incredible power as an orator; they are definitely worth taking the time to read. These pieces display the variety of Twain's imaginative invention, his diverse talents, and his extraordinary emotional range. Twain was a master of virtually every prose genre; in fables and stories, speeches and essays, he skilfully adapted, extended or satirized literary conventions, guided only by his unruly imagination. This can easily be called as a treasure trove of Twain’s most popular sayings from his many after dinner speeches and random musings he spoke to the media during his time. This will also offer a great level of insight to the mind of Samuel Clemens/Mark Twain. If you ever wanted to get a glimpse of one of the most prolific writers of all time then by all means read this book. It will surely grab your attention and will be a great piece for whenever you need some food for thought during your down time. For writers, this is a huge treasure trove of quotes from one of the greatest literary mind.
Biographie de l'auteur :
Mark Twain began his career in letters as a printer's apprentice at the age of 12. He worked as a typesetter and hack writer until a trip down the Mississippi inspired him to become a steamboat pilot. Twain was a popular humorist, a failed silver miner, an inventor, a pacifist anti-imperialist, and a vegetarian. He had a strong interest in the paranormal. Twain's novel Huckleberry Finn has profoundly influenced the development of American storytelling.
