Nathaniel’s grueling ordeal of pursuing freedom for himself and others becomes intertwined in the conflict between the French and British fighting for control of the mountainous corridor connecting Canada and New York City. Driven by love and aided by his Mohawk friends, Nathaniel refuses to be denied his destiny.

Biographie de l'auteur :

Stephen Collyer is the third son of a U.S. Marine Captain fighter pilot and a French Canadian mother. One of nine children, he was raised in Glens Falls and Queensbury, New York. A veteran of the United States Navy Seabees, Mr. Collyer retired as President and G.M. for a steel fabrication company after 35 years. Returning to college at the age of fifty, he graduated with a degree in Social Science and also earned his teaching credential. He recently taught World History, U.S. History and A.P. U.S. History at both the middle school and high school for over ten years. Mr. Collyer and his wife, Jan, have four children and four grandchildren. This is his first novel in a planned series about the French and Indian War in upstate New York.
