Set against the tension between the United States and Libya in 1986, a US Senator devises a plan to bring down the administration. Three US Air Force captains, and their HC-130 and MH-53 crews, are assigned to execute the senator’s plan that may lead them into a deadly ambush.

Lt. Col. L. Roe McGrath retired from the U.S. Air Force. He is a Master Navigator with over 3200 hours in the C-130 and the HC-130. He was a maintenance supervisor working with the H-1, H-3, H-53, and H-60 helicopters. He had the pleasure of serving as a squadron commander in two aircraft maintenance squadrons and a transportation squadron. He and his wife, Cindy, share the same opinion that their favorite assignment was living in England assigned to the 67th ARRS/SOS where he navigated the HC-130. Currently, Roe and Cindy are enjoying semi retirement next to family. Roe is a certified flight instructor and still loves to be in the air.
