Southwick of Leicester, Massachusetts, was a long-time journalist and chief editorial writer of the Worcester (MA) Telegram & Evening Gazette, and still pens a weekly column for the Worcester Telegram in his retirement years. This prolific wordsmith is the author of over twenty books as well as two librettos.
