Synopsis
The Deak novels are the absurd autobiography of an all time great rock superstar and musical legend. Deak is a quixotic character who tells his comical life story by explaining his lyrics and describing the people and events that inspired his songs. This is the first novel of a trilogy and details his life in New Orleans until age 21, describing his birth, his early music and Bourbon Street shows, his years as a child and teen star and the tragic ending of his first marriage. The Deak is the first novel of a trilogy which The Second Book of Deak, and Deak the Third complete.
