Journey to Peace is based on a true story, Suzie lost her father at the tender age of eight, lost her mother at twenty eight and struggled with being on her own. She had three failed marriages, two of which were abusive. In the middle of the second marriage she went through IVF treatment in order to obtain her longed for family. By keeping all her emotions tightly wrapped up inside her, led to breast cancer and a bi-lateral mastectomy with a new procedure by keyhole surgery. After eight surgeries she had to rebuild not only her physical strength, but replenish her emotional tank which was depleted, she was running on empty. She fought her way through the difficulties of cancer and being a homeless single mother, and would not give up the dream of being happy and contented. But there were times when giving in seemed the easiest and only option. Follow her through her journey to peace.
