Biographie de l'auteur :
Sean E. Jacobs is a historical fiction and nonfiction writer. His first series is called the Faith Chronicles where he describes three main events in history based on faith and forgiving. They are Adversity - Face to Face, Faith - Seventy Times Seven and The Texas Rose - The Runaway Scrape. All novels are based on the truth and taken from the actual memoirs of the main character in the novels. In the next series, The Texas Outlaw Series, his first novel is Sam Bass and the Round Rock Shootout 1878. This novel is based on the actual memoirs of several Texas Rangers in their hunt for one of Texas' most notorious outlaws. And, of course, his third series, The 150th Anniversary Series of Lincoln's Assassination is by far the most exciting of the three series. The series covers the funeral of Lincoln, the inhumane treatment of Jefferson Davis by Edwin Stanton, Secretary of War, the four condemned conspirators, Herold, Atzerodt, Paine or Powell, and Surratt. The best of the six was saved to last, not due out until Christmas 2015, The Lincoln Assassination - Conspiracy Theories. Jacobs enjoys to return daily comments from readers and invites all his fans to join his website, www.seanejacobs.com.
Présentation de l'éditeur :
This novel is the third novel in the series. Atzerodt, Surratt and the final conspiracy novels are to follow. As an author, I value the insight of my readers. After the first trial in "The Pursuit of John Wilkes Booth and the Trial of Davy Herold" in Book 2, many readers got bogged down during the trial phase of the novel. In this novel there is less repetition in the testimony phase and the trial and overall book is much more entertaining. Also, not done before, there is a new twist as to why John Wilkes Booth went from kidnapping President Lincoln to killing him. Or, at least, most historians say he killed him. I can't wait to bring you Book 6, "The Lincoln Conspiracies." In this book there will be two questions you will be able to answer by the time you finish. The first is whether or not Lewis Powell is guilty or innocent. The second is whether or not Powell was a Confederate hero or a murderer connected to Booth enough to be found guilty in the trial.
