Tov Rose is the author of several books, including The New Messianic Version of the Bible; The Book of GOD: For Men; The Book of GOD: Genesis Unbound; The Baptism of Jesus from a Jewish Perspective, The Fall of the American Babylon and more. Tov has been a radio host, a Speaker, Author, Bible Teacher, Chaplain, Performer and have been a Pastor. Since 1991, He's been active working to help people better understand the nature and person God from a Jewish perspective. His biggest passion is explaining how the Word of God is the “God of Israel” Old Testament (Hebrew Bible), who was later born as Jesus/Yeshua in the New Testament. Tov came to faith in Yeshua (Jesus), through the testimony of my parents when I was three years old. This means I am a second generation Jewish believer in Jesus. Although I did have one great aunt named Sophi, who was also a Jewish lady who loved Messiah! When not writing books and all those other things, he enjoys quiet times at home with his wife, children. He is very active in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul Messianic Community. The Sefer haYashar (first edition 1552) is a Hebrew midrash also known as the Toledot Adam and Dibre ha-Yamim be-'Aruk. The Hebrew title may be translated Sefer haYashar - "Book of the Upright" - but it is known in English translation mostly as The Book of Jasher following English tradition. The book is named after the Book of Jasher mentioned in Joshua and 2 Samuel.Although it is presented as the original "Book of Jasher" in the translations such as that of Moses Samuel (1840), it is not accepted as such in rabbinical Judaism, nor does the original Hebrew text make such a claim. It should not be confused with the very different Book of Jasher (Pseudo-Jasher) printed by Jacob Ilive in 1751, which claimed to have been translated by the English monk Alcuin.
