Tony Richards is the author of nearly twenty novels, more than a hundred short stories - enough for 8 collections - and has been shortlisted for the Bram Stoker and British Fantasy awards. His work ranges from crime fiction to sf, fantasy, horror shorts, and all points in between. His series include the Matt Barrett detective novels, tales set in the town of Birchiam-on-Sea, mysteries based in an Africa of the near future, and his Raine's Landing supernatural thrillers ... he is currently writing the seventh of those. Widely traveled, he often sets his books in places he has visited. He lives in London, England, with his wife.
