Revue de presse

'Guaranteed to hold Patterson's many fans spellbound ... This one is not to be missed' Booklist (Booklist)

'If there really were human superheroes, Alex Cross would be at the head of the class...and, with each instalment in the series, Patterson makes sure his superhero gets bigger and better while at the same time becomming more vulnerable.' (New York Times)

'Patterson knows where our deepest fears are buried... There's no stopping his imagination.' (New York Times Book Review)

'As a reporter, I have covered enough crime stories, murders, investigations and trials to have a fair eye for falsity, and I think Patterson has got the material dead on' Baltimore Sun (Baltimore Sun)

'Patterson masterminds another thriller ... once again, we're left to wonder, how does this man do it? how does Patterson continue to write gripping tales that keep us turning pages into the wee hours of the night until the book is finished, and we're disappointed there isn't more to read?' Oakland Press (Oakland Press)

`Patterson's simple but effective style and short, punchy chapters keep the action moving nicely' Mirror

'Alex Cross is a particularly well-drawn protagonist... The author's sure-fire tactics have us turning the pages with speed' Good Book Guide

'Edge-of-your-seat plot-driven and furiously paced novel... ROSES ARE RED has one of the most shocking last pages since Thomas Harris' HANNIBAL' Irish Independent

'Bank robbery and murder with a gripping twist' Peterborough Evening Telegraph

'A novel of pace, style and narrative power that grips the reader from opening line until final page' Dublin Evening Herald

'Another pacy and thrilling read from this bestselling author... Patterson spins out the climax with twists that leave your head whirling. The stunning ending leaves you gasping for the sequel' South Wales Argus

'Cross is an engaging and likeable character who stands apart from the majority of successful detectives with his storng family ties and piano-playing meditation. Patterson has created a classic "race-against-time" thriller... The plot is gripping, the dialogue terse and the action constant... A genuinely good read' Oxford Times

'The author's sure-fire tactics have us turning those pages with ever increasing speed' Crime Time
