Sharon Bennett-is in the health care profession, an artist of poetry, writing, and oil painting. She has a bachelors of arts, and a bachelors of science degree. She currently resides in the Atlanta, GA area. Shoe Fetish is her third published work. First was a poem entitled: I Never Dreamed. It was published in True Reflections, and won the Library of Poetry’s 2001 Editor’s Choice award. Her second work was THE L.E. BENNETT STORY: Living the Dream. A biography about her father’s civil rights activities, and the ministry. Beatrice Moore (inset) is a former mathematics teacher and school administrator, who currently works as an independent mathematics consultant. She has authored numerous math textbooks, but has realized a lifelong dream of authoring fiction with the publication of Shoe Fetish. She is the proud parent of three children and resides in the Houston, TX metro area.

SHOE FETISH is a casually written novella about three South Texas teenage girls as they stumble from puberty to adulthood, trying to come to terms with their true feelings and desires. Their knowledge of relationships was gained through failed, abusive, and socially unacceptable affairs. The young women equate some of these men with styles of shoes. In the odyssey of the relationship maze; torment, strength, insanity, love, and even death were found. The girls relationship with each other suffered years after college, but their friendships were rekindled at a twenty-year high-school reunion. However, no one would have guessed the turn this road would quickly take. The story is told through the eyes of its central character, Carmen Robertson. These three professional women endured some of life's greatest hardships during the spring of their lives.
