Biographie de l'auteur :
Lorine Mason is an author, project designer and regular columnist whose work has been featured in print, on the Web and television. She works with a variety of art mediums, combining them with her enthusiasm for all things fabric. She strives to create items others will be inspired to re-create, hopefully adding their own personal touches. Her creative career started in retail, weaving its way through management and education positions, along the path. This experience, along with a goal to stay on top of trends in color and style, gives her current work the edge manufacturers, publishers and editors have come to expect. She shares her life with husband, Bill and daughters, Jocelyn and Kimbrely in Virginia.
Présentation de l'éditeur :
Quilters love fat quarters. They love to buy them and they love to use them. The 9 slipper patterns in this book are made from fat quarters as are the matching interchangeable clips and the small tote, just big enough to hold a pair of slippers for that special night away from home. A variety of slippers are included: Mary Janes, slip-on summer slippers, Asian flower slippers, boot slippers, espadrille slippers, square-toed slippers, everyday slippers and more. With all the interchangeable clips and the tote, there are more than 25 designs given. Instructions for adding no-skid "rubber" to the bottom are also included.
