The utopia-like kingdom of Agharta is a motif that appears in most ancient myths: Shangri-La, the Valhalla of Norse mythology, the kingdom of Belovodia in Siberian shamanism(see "Entering the Circle" by Olga Kharitidi), and Shambhalla of Tibet. In "TSG", Shambhalla is described as the capital of Agharta, where Olaf Jansen and his father meet with the ruler of the inner realm. Regardless of belief or interpretation, if you like a good story and a daring adventure, "The Smoky God" won't leave you disappointed.
