Silvia Carrillo Rodríguez (México, 1971) was raised in a traditional family. She is the second of three siblings. Both of her parents have graduate degrees and it was them who instilled in her a passion for learning, reading, and sports, as well as the love of nature and animals. She graduated with honors from the Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua with a degree in Accounting. In April 1998 she married Gustavo Rodríguez, an engineer. Later, and to be supportive of his American Dream, she emigrated to the United States. The first thing Silvia did after arriving in the U.S. was to dedicate some time to study English. Later, she worked in several areas, which included veterinary, auditing and accounting. She is now established in the historic and charming German Village in Columbus, Ohio. It was there that, inspired by the life story of a friend and the beautiful surroundings, she decided to write her first book and achieved a long-dreamed personal goal.This is the English version of that book.
