Biographie de l'auteur :

For more than thirty-five years, Christophe Loviny s work has been concentrated on Burma and other Southeast Asian countries, where he has documented the human condition with passion and empathy. A celebrated journalist, photographer and author of several biographies, he has photographed Aung San Suu Kyi since 1996. For the last five years he has trained a new generation of Burmese photographers whose powerful and moving images appear alongside his own in this book. He is the artistic director of the yearly Yangon Photo Festival of which Aung San Suu Kyi is patron.
