Janine was raised in Niagara Falls and now lives in Mississauga. Her three children were born in Burlington and raised in Oakville. She developed the Animals Over the Bridge technique for her youngest daughter who had trouble falling asleep. She adapted it into a poem 20 years later to explain the concept to her niece whose own daughter was having trouble getting to sleep. The poem became a book and Janine hopes it will help parents everywhere get their kids to sleep!
