Synopsis
Part of a series of exciting and luxurious Flame Tree Notebooks. Combining high-quality production with magnificent fine art, the covers are printed on foil in five colours, embossed then foil stamped. And they're powerfully practical: a pocket at the back for receipts and scraps and two bookmarks. These are perfect for personal use and make a dazzling gift. This example is based on Vincent van Gogh's Café Terrace.
In this painting the brightly lit café radiates with warmth and inviting light, becoming a beacon of yellow set against the rich, dark blue of a night sky, which in turn is illuminated by myriad bright stars. Van Gogh attached the colour yellow to feelings of religious inspiration, light and happiness.
