Revue de presse :
'In The Miracle of the First Poinsettia, a Mexican Christmas legend retold by Joanne Oppenheim, a poor girl who cannot afford to take a gift to the church for midnight mass is told by an angel to pick some greenery, and as she walks into the church, it blooms into poinsettias (which now grow like weeds in Mexico). The richly coloured artwork is by Argentinean artist Fabian Negrin.' --The Bookseller
'A beautifully illustrated version of a Mexican Christmas legend. Poor little Juanita is ashamed to go to church because she has no present for the baby Jesus. But in the end she gives him the best present of all. My six-year old was enthralled and picked it up to read to herself the moment I had finished reading it out loud.' --Families, North Devon
'A beautiful story of the first poinsettia, and how a young girl learns on Christmas Eve that a gift from the heart is the best gift of all. A wonderful alternative to the traditional nativity story with rich magical illustrations adding an authentic Mexican feel.' --Family Interest Magazine
