Richard Trillo is author of Rough Guides to West Africa and Kenya and has been visiting the region regularly since his first trip in 1978. When not travelling around Africa, Richard is also Rough Guides'' Communications Director in London.After meeting Richard on a research trip in The Gambia 1994, Emma Gregg has been a key contributor to The Rough Guide to West Africa. She is also editor of Travel Africa magazine
