Knit Back in time by Geraldine Warner is so much more than just a knitting pattern book. Not only does it include gorgeous vintage patterns with a modern twist, but it also gives you a history to the changes in fashion in knitwear design, a guide of how to amend any vintage patterns found in charity shops, and alternative stitch instructions for the pattern given in the book, all with clear bright and simple instructions that are a joy to follow. It's obvious that Geraldine has a great passion for vintage and as you work your way through the book, you can't help but share it! This book is written in the spirit of experimentation and encourages you to think outside the box, learn as you go and gain confidence in your knitting ability. Suitable for novice and expert knitters looking to spruce their wardrobes with a little vintage.

Geraldine Warner has been knitting and crocheting since the age of seven, taught by her mother and grandmothers who instilled in her a love of vintage knitting patterns. Over the years she has developed a style of her own, adapting these wonderful designs for a modern fit and yarn choice. She has worked at the creative end of the media and digital marketing industries, but knitting has always been her first love. In her spare time she likes to write about the evolving possibilities of modern and vintage at her Skiff Vintage Knitting blog. Geraldine lives in Lewes, East Sussex, UK, with her husband, young son, and a collection of cats and dogs.
