Revue de presse :
"[The book's] size, along with its landscape format and glossy paper, means that photographs, which number in excess of 100 color images, are lavishly reproduced. This is a visually impressive book, and certainly does just to the rather photogrnic F-15 Eagle... In the case of F-15 Eagle Engaged, each author's unique abilities and backgrounds have come together to ensure that both asepcts are properly chronicled. Fortunately for us, this has resulted in this splendid book." -Logbook

"This background reference volume in oversized landscape format is written by a team comprising an aviation journalist and a U.S. Air Force pilot with extensive experience flying the F-15. Given the relaxation of security with the airframe's advancing age, many previously unknown details are brought to light... A library with collection interests in modern military aviation will find this title worth considering." -John Howard Oxley, America Reference Books Annual (March 2008)

"Military collections and general-interest holdings strong in aviation will relish the visual treat of Steve Davies and Doug Dildy's F-15 Eagle Engaged: The World's Most Successful Jet Fighter, in which a USAF Colonel and a leading aviation journalist write the most eye-catching, detailed book in print on the F-15 Eagle fighter." -The California Bookwatch (January 2008)

"...this is the finest book on the light-grey Eagle bar none. If you want information at the limit of the unclassified it's here. And that's through the efforts of two authors who currently lead their field... I can't recommend this book highly enough..." -Ted and Paul E. Eden, Scale Aircraft Modelling (Volume 29 Number 11)

"This is a phenomenal book that would certainly keep the ardent aviation buff busy for many hours. The time it must have taken to write and compile this book is staggering, for the content is detailed yet very readable." -Timothy Baghurst, The Traveler (November 2007)

"Author Davies and Dildy have produced a very nice history of the F-15, taking it from its inception to its current status... In all, a very nice book that is both an ecxcellent reference and a nice 'coffee table' book. One that I know you will be browsing through time and time again." -Scott Van Aken, modelingmadness.com (October 2007)

"A USAF Colonel and a leading aviation journalist combine in F-15 Eagle Engaged to pen the most comprehensive book ever publishing on the F-15 Eagle. Containing over 100 breathtaking color photographs, detailed technical information and fascinating combat stories, this definitive history and guide to the world's most successful jet fighter is a 'must have' for anyone interested in modern aviation." -sirreadalot.org (October 2, 2007)
