He was chosen as the only Welsh referee during the 2007 World Cup and has been responsible for refereeing some of the most important matches of 2008. Ond cyn cyrraedd uchelfannau'r byd rygbi bu trwy argyfwng personol dirdynnol. Am flynyddoedd ni allai wynebu'r hyn ydoedd - roedd person y tu mewn iddo yn trio dod mas... Ef oedd y person cyntaf i "ddod mas" fel dyn hoyw yn y byd rygbi proffesiynol. Ers gwneud hynny, newidiodd ei fywyd er gwell, a blodeuodd ei yrfa rygbi a darlledu. Yn y gyfrol hon mae Nigel yn gwbl onest am ei fywyd personol a chyhoeddus, fel dyfarnwr a diddanwr.
