County Kerry, Ireland. A rural community is turned upside down by the arrival of an American film crew on location to capture the real Ireland for their latest Hollywood blockbuster. When locals Charlie Conlon and Jake Quinn are employed as extras for the film, they, like the rest of the village, struggle to present the Americans' romanticised vision, a stark contrast to the reality of daily life.

With over fifteen characters portrayed by two actors - from the local lads intent on being stars, to the film's American lead actress whose Irish accent leaves a lot to be desired - this hilarious yet poignant play returned in December 2011 in an updated production to the Tricycle theatre where it had its London premiere.

This edition also contains the one man show A Night In November, which has been considtently performed since its 1994 premier. The play follows Kenneth McCallister, family man and Ulsterman, on the fateful night in November in Belfast when the Republic of Ireland qualifies against Northern Ireland for the World Cup, and Kenneth finds himself watching the sectarian hatred of the crowd rather than the football. A Night in November shows how Kenneth deals with his identity crisis through monologues and soliloquies as well as introducing numerous other characters for Kenneth to interact with, all played by the one actor.
