Biographie de l'auteur :
James Nicholls studied law and worked on legal liability in the City. He has long been interested in criminal law history, especially the more controversial cases. He lives in an eighteenth-century cottage on the North Downs in Kent and has had articles and booklets published on Kentish life and history.

On the 12th March, Frances had been convicted and sentenced to death at Maidtone Assizes for drowning her 11year-old step-daughter at New Romney. With Index.
