Biographie de l'auteur :
Neil nació en Escocia y, salvo por unos años en el extranjero, lleva viviendo allí casi toda su vida. Escritor independiente a tiempo completo desde 1988, Neil ha viajado por cinco continentes y escrito más de cincuenta guías de viaje y senderismo para diversas editoriales como HarperCollins, AA Publishing, Berlitz y Lonely Planet.
Con sede fija en Praga, Mark lleva más de 20 años viviendo y trabajando en Europa Central, primero como periodista para The Economist Group y después para Bloomberg News y Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty. Licenciado en Relaciones Internacionales en Columbia University de Nueva York fue cofundador de la Globe Bookstore&Coffeehouse. Actualmente trabaja como escritor independiente de viajes en Lonely Planet, en The Wall Street Journal y National Geographic Traveler y, cuando no está viajando, imparte clases de Historia de Europa Central y Periodismo en la Anglo-American University de Praga.
