Biographie de l'auteur :
Christabelle Dilks fell in love with Argentina- and an Argentine man- at 16, when her family went to live in Bahía Blanca in the Pampas. Two years later the Falklands War broke out and suddenly she has to leave her first love and her close friends. She became an actress, then a filmmaker, working at the National Theatre, Channel 4 and the BBC. Then one day she walked out of her job in London to go back to Argentina for the first time in 20 years. She travelled across the vast spaces, encountered the warmth of the people, discovered the rich culture, and fell in love all over again. Writing this book has been a labour of love, and Christabelle would like one day to make Argentina her home.
