Authors on the wing - are Angela Weld, Richard Hall, Robert Pusey, William A. Nowell,& John J. Nowell. All were 3rd year students at the Broadway Media Centre, University Centre Peterborough, Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge. This book was produced and published as an assignment of the Creative Publishing part of the course. The students photographed the locations or located suitable photographs from other photographers, researched the text, located sponsors, liaised with many different official bodies, complied the layout using Quark, manipulated the images in Photoshop, made a detailed acknowledgment and location chapter, produced final PDFs which were sent to the printers in Hong Kong. The students then located retail outlets, produced press releases and liaised with newspapers, radio & TV stations - both local, national and international and finally distributed the finished book. All of the authors graduated.

A Day Above Cambridgeshire tells the story of the day in the life of an Air Ambulance pilot operating all over Cambridgeshire, including the old County of Huntingdonshire and the Soke of Peterborough now all within the modern County of Cambridgeshire. The day starts at dawn and ends at dusk. The cover photograph show Carolyn Grace in her Spitfire over Cambridgeshire.
