Biographie de l'auteur :
After receiving a degree in Latin Studies, Sarah Cameron has been travelling and writing on the continent ever since, both as an economist and as an author for Footprint. Initially moonlighting for the South American Handbook, while working for a British bank, in 1990 she parted company with the world of finance and has been contributing to expansion of Footprint titles ever since. Sarah now concentrates solely on the Caribbean and is the author of Footprint Caribbean Islands as well as guides to the individual islands: Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Barbados, St Lucia, Antigua and the Leeward Islands. When she is not travelling around the Caribbean sampling beaches and rum cocktails, she retreats to her 17th-century farmhouse in rural Suffolk.
Présentation de l'éditeur :
Swaying palm trees, golden beaches, a hammock at siesta time, sunset rum cocktails....these are among the many ingredients of a relaxing Caribbean holiday. Each island is a diverse mix and most islands have kept their own identities and traditions. You can enjoy Carnival in Trinidad, dance the salsa in Cuba, immerse yourself in reggae in Jamaica or be initiated into the rites of voodoo in Haiti.
