Olivier Picard is the Managing Director of ISC Medical, specialists in medical interview coaching. Married to a doctor and having specialised for many years in communication coaching for the medical profession, he has extensive knowledge and in-depth understanding of all past and current issues affecting the NHS. Olivier is a frequent and popular speaker at external events such as recruitment fairs, NHS trusts meetings and training sessions, as well as medical schools. Throughout the years, he has coached over 6000 doctors applying to training posts (FY, SHO, Specialist Registrar, CT, ST), service posts (Staff grade, Trust grade, Trust Registrar and Associate Specialists) as well as doctors applying for GP and consultant posts. Olivier is the author of several respected guides and has also written multiple articles on interview skills throughout the years. The book was edited by Dan Wood and Sebastian Yuen. Dan Wood is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at University College London Hospitals and an Honorary Consultant at Great Ormond Street. He holds Honorary Senior Lectureships at University College London and the Institute of Child Health and is also a Post-Graduate Tutor in Urology. Sebastian Yuen is a Consultant Paediatrician at the Royal Free Hospital and a Fellow of the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement.
