Présentation de l'éditeur :
The newest addition to Footprint's burgeoning series of activity guides, "Diving South East Asia", introduces divers to the world's most diverse marine environment. This truly comparative guide includes over 400 popular sites, all of which have been dived, reviewed and photographed by experienced husband-and-wife team, Beth and Shaun Tierney. From the pristine, isolated reefs of Indonesia's Spice Islands to the lively marine and land environments in The Philippines' Puerto Galera, there's something for everyone. The guide also features personal opinions and anecdotes from both experts and other divers, as well as recommendations of what to do and see on dry land. It has unique fusion of sport and travel. It includes colour photography and mapping throughout. 'Drying Out' sections list the best of the sights for non-diving partners. It features helpful listings of where to stay, eat and drink and who to dive with.
Revue de presse :
Shaun's photographs are vibrant and Beth's inimitable writing style fires your imagination and, if you close your eyes, you could almost be there. For me, one of the most endearing extras in this book are the images of local people and children which give you a real sense of the culture. As a diving guide, it's exceptional but there is much more to it than life underwater --Scubaadvisor
