It might still be summer, but if you want to finish the adorable figures (including reindeers) from this Yuletide tale, you need to get those needles clacking now. --Saga Magazine August 2011
Fiona Goble has created a collection of charming characters based on Clement C. Moore's 1822 poem, 'Twas The Night Before Christmas. From Father Christmas himself to the reindeer and family which feature in the poem, these patterns would make lovely decorations or gifts for a fellow knitter or a special child. --The Knitter October 2011
Ah, who doesn't love a knitting pun? Ok, some are a little nauseating but, incredibly, this one I had not come across before, so I admit, I did emit a chuckle. From the author of the phenomenally popular Knit Your Own Royal Wedding comes this knitted version of the 19th century poem by Clement Clarke Moore, without which we would never have associated old St Nick with a reindeer or sleigh! Luckily for us he did because the knitted reindeer here (all eight! With names!) are brilliant. This hilarious combination of storybook and cheeky knitting patterns means come Christmas Eve you can re-enact the poem with all the characters present! --Knitting Magazine December 2011
