Synopsis
Mason Brighton, assistant principal of Falls Creek High School in central Kentucky, is haunted by painful memories from his past. A terrible accident during his senior year of high school still causes him grief. Why does his father still taunt him? Why is his father so angry so aloof? Will the nightmares never end? As he attempts to confront the challenges of a host of troubled teens and a tormented teacher who hates his job, the young educator comes face to face with himself. His own pain causes him to reach out to Jessica Davis, a high school senior with a turbulent past and an uncertain future. In the process Mason is forced to answer the question. Does God really have a plan for his life? As he helps Jessica fight for her life, he finds peace. In a complicated twist of events, Mason meets a beautiful young college professor, Dee Grey, and her tiny daughter. Dee’s troubles, triumphs and secrets from her past give Mason insights into his own past. Together they untangle a web of deception which will answer some questions which have troubled them for years and together they learn the meaning of hope, forgiveness, and God’s love.
