Following the final index is a two-page bound-in text entitled Indices Naturwissenschaftlich-Medizinischer Periodica 1650-1850, edited by Armin Geus, also written in German, which consists of an introductory paragraph and a list of five volumes with descriptions, with the ending phrase "More volumes are in preparation". Laid-in at the rear is a article entitled "Introduction: Why Analyze Bibliographies?" by H.R. Simon, written in English. It contains two black-and-white graphs and a list of references at the end.
