Success in oral rehabilitation is dependent in part, on the accurate registration of those structures that constitute the basis for prosthesis support. An understanding of biomechanics of implant Prosthodontics necessitates the fabrication of passively fitting prosthesis.As implantology is an upcoming branch,gaining excellence in the same become more vital. The surgical placement of implants may be accomplished by dental surgeons of other branches too, like oral and maxillofacial surgeons, periodontists etc but the prosthetic part decides the final outcome and success. Since, an unprecise prosthesis may lead to failure of well osseointegrated implants, it becomes the final and most important deciding factor. A thorough knowledge will yield incredible results.This book will describe the implant impression making in a simplified manner with a more practical approach. The Author,Dr.Srishti Madhav has completed her Masters in Dental Surgery(M.D.S)in PROSTHODONTICS and Implantology from Rama Dental College & Research Institute.She has presented papers in various conferences and P.G. conventions conducted by Indian Prosthodontic Society.She has done an original Research on "Effect of aging on occlusal plane Level"
