Prof. Dr. Gernot Minke is a professor at Universit�t Kassel, where he leads the Forschungslabor f�r Experimentelles Bauen. He has long concerned himself with developments in ecological building, and he has dealt with the building material clay in theory and practice since 977. His book Building with Straw was also published by Birkh�user.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Gernot Minke ist Hochschullehrer an der Universit�t Kassel, wo er das Forschungslabor f�r Experimentelles Bauen leitet und sich seit langem mit Entwicklungen des �kologischen Bauens besch�ftigt. Mit dem Baustoff Lehm befa�t er sich in Theorie und Praxis seit 977. Sein Buch �Building with Straw� ist ebenfalls bei Birkh�user erschienen.
