Il volume è il catalogo della mostra dedicata al fotografo americano Robert Mapplethorpe. L'idea della mostra nasce dall'incontro tra Patti Smith, grande amica e musa di Mapplethorpe, e Jonatha Nelson, studioso del Rinasciento. Mapplethorpe, infatti, si sforzava di catturare, attraverso la sua fotografia, la particolare forma di perfezione che percepiva nel lavoro di Michelangelo e di altri maestri rinascimentali.

In excellent condition. A clean, tight, copy. No markings or signs of prior ownership. Very minor rubbing to tips and cornsrs.
