The construction industry represent one of the major industries world-wide, significant both for developing as for developed countries. Unfortunately, it is also responsible for accidents at work, where some of them result in injuries, while other in fatal consequences. This book represents the first-one in row, discussing challenges and perspectives in the area of Occupational Safety and Health on construction. It aims to disseminate knowledge and experience, offering practical solutions gathered through the past years of work of the Laboratory on Safety and Occupational Hygiene (in Portuguese “Laboratório de Higiene e Segurança do Trabalho” - LSHT) of the University of Pernambuco (UPE), Brazil. This book investigates on Building Information Modelling (BIM) solutions for accidents resulting from falls from height - one of the major causes of occupational fatal accidents.
