Review :
'...Readers who are keen to learn the nitty-gritty of a designed outdoor living space will find plenty to interest them. More than two dozen landscaping projects around the U.S., plus one in Australia, are featured, and each includes useful info such as budget, site problems and solutions, and key design details, plus 2 or 3 pages of before-and-after photos. I like that the authors offer suggestions for cost-saving alternatives for certain features, which helps in understanding how one might save money by choosing less-expensive materials or finishes that involve less-skilled craftsmanship.' --Digging
'For some, gardening is a form of religion so the title of this book is quite appropriate. It is a real go-to manual for transforming an outdoor space, whether it s a pocket-sized inner-city plot or a vast country estate. The photographs are inspiring, but it s the commonsense advice that will convert every reader into a garden guru.' --February Issue of Belle Magazine Austraila
The Garden Bible: Designing Your Perfect Outdoor Space by Barbara Ballinger and Michael Glassman is a garden A to Z, from planning to creating your own style while not wasting money. With inspiring insights into how others have fulfilled their visions, it s filled with the sorts of practical problem-solving information not normally found in such books. The authors are North American, as are most of the gardens featured, but the appeal is universal. --Better Homes & Gardens Magazine
