Dr. R.K. Kapoor is presently working as Professor, Department of Pathology, Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Deemed University, Loni, District Ahmednagar. He has done his graduation i.e., MBBS (1969) from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune and postgraduation: i.e., D.C.P. (1979), MD. (Path) (1982) from Medical College Baroda and Ph.D. (Biochemistry) (1988) from Defence Research Development Establishment, Jiwaji University, Gwalior. He has served Armed Medical Services in many teaching and specialist assignments. Dr. Kapoor previously worked as Professor and Head, Department of Biochemistry in M.G.Ms Medical College, Navi Mumbai for three years. Dr. Mrs. B. Kumudini is presently working as Professor and Head, Department of Biochemistry, Surat Municipal Institute of Medical Education and Research, Surat (Gujarat), since March 2004 and has teaching experience of about 20 years in various Medical Colleges. She worked in M.G.Ms Medical College, Navi Mumbai as Associate Professor, Department of Biochemistry and J.N. Medical College, Wardha as lecturer. She did her Ph.D. (Biochem.) from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sevagram on Immunochemical Approaches for Diagnosis of Filariasis in Feb 1991. She has published six scientific papers in National and Internationaljournals. She has received A. Krishnamoorthy Young Scientist award for the best paper published in the year 199091 in Indianjoumals. She has presented many scientific papers in National and International Conferences and also attended various workshops and training programmes. She has completed her post Doctoral Fellow in Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad, in the field of Expression of oncogenes in mammary tumours and on Design and Development on synthetic peptide based immunodiagnosis of Hepatitis C Virus.
