On the basis of that the protection of women from domestic violence Act 2005 has been enacted. This book has been written keeping in view the needs and requirements of law students. The special features of the book are the protection of women from domestic violence Act 2005 and the Hindu succession (Amendment) Act 2005. The book is divided into seven chapters of which the first six chapters deal with the provisions relating to women in personal law criminal law and constitution law.
