It was a lawsuit in Africa that brought him popularity within the Indian Community. It was in Africa that he first experimented with the powerful weapon of Satyagraha, which was to later change the face of the Indian struggle for independence. My Experiments with Truth: An Autobiography: 1 is a collection of his weekly essays that was published in Navjivan from 1925-1929. The first edition of this book was published by Jaico Publishing House in 2008 and is available in paperback format.
