Dr. (Mrs) Shantha N Nair is a retired Reader and Head of the Department of Economics, S.P.W. College, Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh, She has translated a few books from Tamil to English for the Tirupathi- Tirumala Devasthanams. She has co-authored a book entitled, 'A Garland of Gems of Wisdom for a Happy and Successful life' along with her husband. Her publications also include 'Learner's Dictionary of Economics', 'A Synopsis of Bhagavatham stories', 'Sreerama-the Lord Incarnate and Sreekrishna- The Poornavatar', 'the Holy Himalayas- an Abode of Hindu Gods', 'Echoes of Ancient Indian Wisdom', 'The Lord Shiva- His 12 Jyoitir Lingams, and 5 Bhootha Lingams' and Global Recession and its impact on India '2008-2009'.
