Biographie de l'auteur :
Jan Harold Brunvand, profesor emérito de inglés y especialista en folklore de la Universidad de Utah, ha escrito columnas en la prensa diaria instando a sus lectores a que le enviaran historias “reales” que hubieran oído contar. Su libro de leyendas urbanas es un auténtico best seller que ofrece la información más documentada que existe en la realidad. Brunvand es autor de otros libros sobre el tema, entre ellos The Choking Doberman and Other “New” Urban Legends (1984) y The Baby Train and Other Lusty Urban Legends Going (1993), entre otros.
