He was a prolific writer and engaged with the multiple dimensions of living in terms of political thought, historical inquiry, cultural critiquing, literary and aesthetic thinking and Vedic exegesis. This Renaissance man was single-minded in his pursuit of the spirit and desired after holistic transformation of the human's being. The search for the mantra or that perfect unity of sabda and artha, sound and sense meant the quest for the ultimate inspiration and expression.
