Art is an exemplary school of humanity and inner re-balancing for Simona Bocchi. Although suffering is profoundly human and dwells within each of us, it should stay balanced. The interest of writing this book derives from the author's strong desire to use art for therapeutic purposes, in social contexts accessible to everyone. Simona's art therapy work takes inspiration, among other things, from the methods of observation by Maria Montessori who dedicated her life to children. Her experience with Tibetan monks and their authentic ancient meditation tradition during the creation of a mandala, as a sacred and creative action has become an original way to complete her art therapy method.
