Joel D. Wisner is Professor Emeritus of Supply Chain Management at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering from New Mexico State University, an M.B.A. from West Texas State University, and a Ph.D. in supply chain management from Arizona State University. Dr. Wisner holds professional certifications in Transportation and Logistics (CTL) and Purchasing Management (C.P.M.). His research interests focus on process assessment and improvement strategies across the supply chain. Throughout his career, Dr. Wisner has authored or co-authored more than 100 articles, cases, conference presentations, and monographs, contributing significantly to the fields of operations and supply chain management.
